I grew up hating the church. When I was forced to go on Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday I drew violent battle scenes on the programs. When I spent a year in a  Lutheran private school I flunked my Bible classes and was nearly kicked out. When I was a teenager my first girlfriend had an overbearing Mother with a personality disorder who was obsessed with televangelists. I arbitrarily alternated between mocking, ignoring, and attacking Christianity with my friends. I couldn’t stand it.

Then, for no reason other than the grace of God, my eyes were opened and I became a Christian in 2010. Since that time I have spent a great deal of time researching and discussing scripture, theology, and philosophy, and created this blog to give a home to my writings. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Liberty University and work for CrossFit Inc. as a co-publisher of and photojournalist.
